Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
What is the average teacher-to-student ratio?
Infants: 1 Teacher: 2 Students
Toddlers: 1 Teacher: 4 Students
Preschool: 1 Teacher: 5 Students
What is the age range for the students?
We have three separate classrooms that accommodate three age groups ranging from three months to six years.
Infants: 3 – 18 Months
Toddlers: 18 Months – 3 Years
Preschool: 3 – 6 Years
What level of education and which certifications have your teachers received?
All of our instructions are Pennsylvania certified with either bachelor or associate degrees.
As an inner-city daycare, do you offer any outdoor playtime for the students?
Weather permitting, our students will go outside every day. Our school has a protected, private, outdoor play area directly attached to our building. Additionally, we are located right around the corner from the Fishtown Recreation Center.
What additional protections and cleaning protocols has The Fishtown School implemented to protect the students, their families, and staff from COVID-19?
We follow and strictly enforce the CDC guidance for cleaning, social distancing, and contact tracing at child care programs.
